Andy is a 1986 graduate of Marietta High School where he earned All-League honors in football and baseball and also lettered in basketball. After studying business at Marietta College, he went back and earned his bachelors degree in Secondary Education along with Special Education Certification at Ohio Valley University. He is currently a Special Education Intervention Specialist at Marietta High School. Andy has coached numerous sports at Marietta High School since 1989, including 12 years in the football program. Andy and his wife Candi reside in Marietta with their daughters Tiffany (17) and Heidi (14), and son Evan (7). Their son Jason (22) and his wife Brittany reside in Vienna, WV.
Ben Schenkel

Ben is a 1994 graduate of Marietta High School and received his bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Marietta College. Ben has coached 14 years of football at Marietta. He has coached
4 years at the seventh grade level and this will be his
10th year at the high school. Ben is entering his 9th year as a 5th grade teacher at St. Mary's Elementary in Marietta. He, his wife, Jennifer,
and two daughters, Claire (4½ ),

Darren Stevens
Defensive Coordinator
Darren is a graduate of Fort Frye High
School. He went on to receive a Bachelor Degree in
Physical Education from Mount Union College in 1991
and a Masters Degree in special education from Muskingum
College in 2007. Coach Stevens has 11 years coaching
experience. Returning this year to the Tigers staff,
he will be the Defensive Coordinator and also will coach the
offensive lineman. Coach Stevens and his wife Alicia,
son Josh (11) and daughter Chloe (7) reside in Lowell, Ohio.
Vince Elder
Offensive Coordinator
Vince is a graduate locally of
Frontier High School and of Ohio University. He is
a recipient of a bachelor's degree in Mathematics
Education and an Associates Degree in Electrical
Engineering. Coach Elder has over 20 years
experience in coaching football. His career has
found him with head coaching stints at Frontier and St.
Mary's High Schools as well as an assistant at Marietta
College. New to the coaching staff this year,
Coach Elder will coach the Tiger Running Backs and
Defensive Lineman. Coach Elder and his wife,
Tamy, have two grown children. Megan, who attends Hofstra University in Long Island New York and Ross who
is a Cadet at the United States Air Force Academy in
Colorado Springs, Colorado. Coach Elder and his
wife reside in St. Mary's, WV.
Jason Schob
Head JV Coach - Quarterbacks
Jason is a 2005 graduate of Marietta High School where he was an All-SEOAL performer and 2nd team All-Ohio Quarterback. He went on to play at the University of Findlay and the College of Wooster, before an injury cut his college career short. He now attends Ohio Valley University and is majoring in Wellness Education. This is Jason's 2nd year on the Tigers staff and coaches the Quarterbacks and Defensive Backs. Jason was married this past July to his wife Brittany and they reside in Vienna, WV.
Glen Dawson
JV - Special Teams Coordinator/Receivers/Defensive
Line/JV Coach
Glenn graduated from Bellaire High School in 1984 and is the schools all time leader in average yards per punt.
He went on to West Liberty State College where he was recruited as a hurdler/sprinter and studied Business Administration.
Glenn will be entering his first season with the Tiger's coaching staff. He is employed by Part Depot as a District Operations Manager.
Glenn and his wife Christi reside in Marietta with their three children Erica (13), Trent (9), and Tori (18 months).
Chuck Lucas Sr.
Freshman - Offensive/Defensive Line
Chuck is a 1964 graduate of Marietta High
School. While a student there he ran track and played
varsity football. He went on to serve 4 years with the
United States Navy. During 196401968, Chuck completed
one tour of duty in Vietnam. In 1967, Chuck married
Cindy and together they raised four children: Chuck, Jr.,
Deedy, Chellie, and granddaughter Christin. Chuck
worked 34 years at Kardex System and is now employed at Hi
Vac. In 1976, Chuck started coaching the Harmar Hawks.
In the 12 years he spent coaching the youth team, they went
undefeated numerous times. In 1988, he coached the 8th
grade Jr. High and in 1989 when they 9th graders he took
them to an undefeated season. Chuck took a few years
off to enjoy time with his family. His grandchildren
Christin, Codey, Kyle, Ryan, Curtis and Samanthia all
inherited their grandpa's love of sports. In 2006,
Chuck returned to coach the 8th grade for two years and in
2007 they went undefeated.

Tom Zakowski
Volunteer - Linebackers
Tom graduated from Grand Valley High
School in northeastern Ohio. He received his
Bachelor's Degree from West Virginia in 1974. While he
attended WVU, he played four years of varsity football as
starting linebacker for Bobby Bowden. He also received
his Masters Degree from WVU in 1977. He has over 15
years experience coaching football, baseball, and basketball
at the youth level. Tom works for Eramet Marietta as
the Staff Safety Engineer. He and his wife Patti live
in Devola and have four grown children..
